As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is part of the Florida Board Riders, founded in 2021. Our mission is to share the joy of surfing with our local communities by providing scholarship funds, surf lessons, caring for the ocean through beach cleanups, teaching ocean safety, hosting & participating in statewide competitions, and hosting member get-togethers and video nights.
Since our founding in 2021, we have seen substantial growth in members who believe in our cause, and we have been continuing to make waves in the local and global surfing community.
To be more specific, this past year, thanks to Dyer, many of our local team riders won East Coast Championships, South East Regional Championships, were selected for the USA Surfing Development Team, selected for the USA Surfing U14 world team rider, State champions, traveled to countries all around the globe and many more up and comers. One of our highest level riders is 18 and won 3 WSL (World Surf League) events this year against the WORLDS BEST.
While this list of achievements is great, we still have room to grow and that is why we need your help.
Our goal this year is to qualify our club’s competition team for the Florida State Championships. Currently our team consists of 28 surfers from ages 8-72, who compete 3x a year. In state wide competition we have yearly agreements and cost due to participate.
In order to achieve this goal, we need your assistance in one of the following ways
Recruitment:
To help us recruit the best local surfers on the Treasure Coast for our competition team. If you or someone you know are a ripper and would like to try out for our competition team, please join as a member or introduce us to someone who may be interested. The more team members we have, the better we will be!
Membership:
If you are not a member, please consider joining. Even if you are not interested in surfing competitively, we still have multiple events for members only for you to participate in. Some examples are surf lessons, family surf days, surf clinics to help you surf better, beach cleanups, movie nights, giveaways, and more! All you have to do is sign up to become a member and you will have access to these events for free!
Sponsorship:
If you are looking to support us and receive some promotion for you or your business, we would welcome the opportunity to partner with you as an official sponsor of our team. We can promote your company on our website, at all our events, and even on our team clothing. We have multiple sponsorship levels to fit a wide variety of budgets so please contact us if you are interested.
Donations:
If you are not interested in competing or even attending events, you can still support your local Treasure Coast non-profit club by providing a tax-deductible donation to help us grow our memberships and recruitment. The more support you are able to provide, the more we can grow our local community, promote the sport of surfing, and help us become more competitive against other clubs!
